Great team to work in.  What I like is the fact that the team put the Brand first and are all working towards a common goal and consistent output; ensuring our candidates and clients are well catered for as our number one priority.

What is your greatest source of enjoyment in your job?

Meeting new people from all walks of life.  Understanding their needs and delivering them a great experience. Taking them out of their comfort zone and them realising the experience was beyond expectations.

Where do you feel you add value to candidates who are looking for work?

Working with candidates to ensure their own needs are being met to strengthen their professional journey. I can also add value to new candidates through my own experience of moving around for work and relocating to some very interesting places in Australia.

What advice would you give to candidates from overseas who are looking to work in Australia?

Australia is a vast country with amazing opportunities.  Be open-minded, take yourself out of the big cities and immerse yourself in different locations; regional, rural, and the remote outback. You will meet great people in local communities and your professional learning experiences will be with you for life.

What’s the best piece of advice you’ve been given in your career?

Accelerate your career by pushing your own personal boundaries, challenge your comfort zone; which helps you to continue your professional growth through life experiences.

If you asked a client to describe you, what would they say?

Being new to recruitment; previous colleagues would say that I’m trustworthy, inclusive, deliver on what I promise and challenge the status quo.

Can you tell us about the most memorable moment of your career?

When I was appointed to take over a business unit that had lost its way through lack of leadership and poor financial performance.  Through engaging the team, visible leadership  and resetting the business goals and strategy we  were able to turn the business performance around substantially within the first 6 – 12 months.   Happy inclusive team leads to strong consistent business standards and  financial performance.
