A little about the role:
We are seeking a locum cardiac sonographer who can perform echocardiographic procedures, (TTE, stress echo and dobutamine stress echo) independently, applying sound knowledge of cardiac anatomy and physiology for interpretation of the results and aligning the findings with the ASE guidelines to complete a comprehensive interim report.

Duties you will be responsible for:
• Perform echocardiographic procedures, (TTE, stress echo and dobutamine stress echo) using GE, Philips and Siemens machines.

Skills and Experience:
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar hospital setting.
• High level organisation, communication, and interpersonal skills, including a proven ability to work effectively in a multi-disciplinary team,

We will also require the following credentialing items prior to starting in this position:

• Accreditation with the Australasian Sonographer Accreditation Registry (ASAR).
• Current National Criminal Record Check no more than 6 months old
• Vaccination and Immunisation Records.
• Current ACT Working with Children or ability to obtain one.
• Comply with CHS credentialing and scope of clinical practice requirements for allied health professionals.
