FAQs

Some questions you may like answered

We are professional recruitment consultants, with an extensive network of both candidates and clinics, hospitals and other care facilities. We make it our mission to get to know who we work with, so we can find the best fit for our candidates as well as for our clients. Some of our candidates become clients and vice versa, with many having been with us since we opened in 2008.

By gathering industry insights and identifying trends, we can capture opportunities before they even come to the market. Many of our candidates actively choose to work with us exclusively, which further builds on the detailed understanding of their needs which we have gained. By having a talented pool of pharmacists who we have got to know, our clients can be confident that we aren’t just passing on a resume, we are referring a person who we know beyond simply words on a page or a quick phone call.

Pharmacists seeking to work in Australia need to be registered with the Pharmacy Board of Australia (PBA).

To validate qualifications obtained outside of Australia, you will need to contact the Australian Pharmacy Council (APC), who accredit pharmacy education and training in Australia and New Zealand on behalf of the Pharmacy Board of Australia (PBA) and the Pharmacy Council of New Zealand (PCNZ). It is APC’s role to assess the competency of overseas-trained pharmacists and ensure that pharmacists from overseas meet Australian standards in Pharmacy.

Overseas trained pharmacists who want to register and work as a pharmacist in Australia, must successfully complete an APC Skills Assessment before they can apply to the Pharmacy Board of Australia (PBA) for registration.

Your personal circumstances will determine which APC Skills Assessment is right for you. Please refer to the information in this link. You may also be required to complete an internship for a period of up to 12 months.
