Job Summary

Portland District Health (PDH) is seeking a skilled and experienced Nurse Unit Manager to lead our 28-bed Residential Aged Care facility, Harbourside Lodge. This full-time locum position offers an excellent opportunity to highlight your leadership, clinical expertise, and commitment to high-quality aged care.
 
Position Details:

• Contract dates: 10/03/2025 to 21/04/2025
• Hours: 80 hours per fortnight (Monday to Friday, no weekends)
• Location: Portland, Victoria – a coastal gem in the Glenelg Shire
• Accommodation: Shared accommodation available, or reimbursement options for self-sourced arrangements

Skills and experience

• Qualifications: Current registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA
• Experience: Leadership and clinical expertise in Residential Aged Care
• Knowledge: Strong understanding of Aged Care Standards, Accreditation requirements, and the Aged Care Funding Instrument (ACFI)
• Skills: Financial management, evidence-based care, and team leadership
• Compliance: Current NDIS screening and immunisation history/serology results
