About the Role We are seeking a highly motivated Pharmacist in Charge to lead our pharmacy and provide an exceptional customer experience. This is a sole pharmacist role with support from a dispensary technician two days per week. You will oversee all aspects of pharmacy operations, including dispensing, patient care, and team leadership, while upholding professional and ethical standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the pharmacy and dispensary team to ensure efficient workflow and minimal customer wait times
• Deliver exceptional customer service in line with our “Making a Difference” principles
• Promote in-store health initiatives and provide healthcare solutions, including vaccinations and over-the-counter recommendations
• Manage dispensary operations: prescriptions, stock control, claiming, filing, and accuracy checks
• Supervise and coach staff to maintain high standards of customer service and team collaboration
• Dispense cannabis products and manage ordering processes
• Administer and promote vaccination services
• Prepare Webster packs (approximately 20 per week)
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, OHS policies, and pharmacy procedures

Requirements

• Bachelor of Pharmacy (or equivalent)
• Current AHPRA registration
• Personal indemnity insurance
• Vaccination-trained pharmacist
• Strong organizational, time management, and communication skills
• Professional, ethical, and patient-focused approach
• Experience with dispensary software (Fred NXT + POS; soon transitioning to LS Retail POS)
• Demonstrated leadership and team management skills
