Job Summary
We are seeking a locum ASAR Registered General Sonographer who can work in a busy tertiary hospital in North Queensland.  Travel support, accommodation allowance and car hir will be provided.  Commencing 15th June for a minimum of 4 weeks.  Longer durations are highly desired. 
  
This is a QLD Health role, which will require credentialing in line with their protocols.  Our team can step you through this.
   
Skills and experience

• Proven experience in general ultrasound across a broad range of areas including Obstetrics & Gynaecology, Emergency, Vascular, and General scanning.
• Comfortable managing a varied caseload in a high-volume environment, with 10–12 patients per day.
• Ability to work effectively within a large, busy medical imaging department, including support for the Emergency Department (ED).
• Proficient in or able to quickly learn to use GE, Philips, and Canon ultrasound machines across five general ultrasound rooms and a Vascular Lab.
• Familiarity with or experience using Viewpoint imaging/reporting software.
• Capable of working independently during weekday day shifts (Monday to Friday) with flexibility for potential on-call duties.
• Excellent time management skills to stay on schedule while accommodating breaks and catch-up time.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for working within a multidisciplinary team and engaging with a diverse patient population, including children and neonatal cases.
