Hourly pay rate: Competitive rates based on experience and skill level, plus super, with flexibility for the right candidate.

Make this opportunity work around you. Whether you’re looking for locum, or permanent full-time or part-time work, we are open to discussing an arrangement that suits your availability. Clinic hours are 9:00am to 5:30pm, with flexibility around working days and hours, including selected days, shorter shifts and Saturdays. Monday-to-Friday availability is welcome; weekend work is optional and there are no on-call requirements. Even if Saturday is your only available day, we would love to hear from you.
  
A Varied Caseload Matched to Your Experience:
Enjoy variety in your working week with a broad General Ultrasound caseload, which may include abdominal, pelvic, renal, DVT and MSK examinations, along with obstetric scanning. There is no expectation to perform every examination type. You’ll work alongside Sonographers with varied areas of expertise, allowing examinations to be allocated according to your individual skills and competencies.

Enjoy a tailored approach to ultrasound, where examinations are allocated with each Sonographer’s experience, skill set and individual strengths in mind. Rather than following a rigid, one-size-fits-all structure, scan times can be adjusted depending on the examination, your experience and what you are comfortable performing. It’s an environment designed to help you work confidently within your strengths while continuing to develop your skills.
  
Experienced Clinical Support Around you.
Each clinic location is supported by senior Sonographers, providing an experienced point of contact when urgent or walk-in cases arise. Their oversight helps ensure additional examinations are assessed and allocated appropriately. You’ll also have access to Radiologist support, with a Radiologist on site one day per week and available by phone at other times.

The Essentials for This Role:

• Qualified Sonographer with the Australian registration of ASAR with accreditation to practise.
• Current rights to work in Australia
• Broad General Ultrasound capabilities, with confidence and competency in abdominal and pelvic scanning
• Ability to perform a selection of examinations across General, Abdominal, Pelvic, Renal, MSK and/or DVT Ultrasound.
• Professional, adaptable and comfortable working collaboratively with senior Sonographers, reception staff and Radiologists.
