Registered Nurse

Location: Moree, New South Wales

Our client a national medical imaging provider is expanding their Moree based team and are seeking the expertise of an experienced Registered Nurse. Patient Preparation: Explain imaging procedures to patients, answer questions, obtain informed consent, and ensure understanding and adherence to pre-procedure instructions, including fasting and medication restrictions.

Assessment and Monitoring: Conduct patient assessments, identify contraindications or allergies (particularly to contrast media), and monitor vital signs and overall condition during imaging procedures.

Sedation and Pain Management: Provide necessary sedation or pain management to ensure patient comfort and stability throughout the procedure.

Emergency Response: Respond quickly to emergency situations, providing critical care and coordinating with medical staff to stabilize patients as needed.

Post-Procedure Care: Monitor patients for adverse reactions, manage post-procedural pain or discomfort, and provide clear discharge instructions.

Patient Education: Educate patients on post-procedure expectations and advise on when to seek medical attention if complications arise.

About you:

• You’re an experienced Registered nurse who holds a current ALS certificate
• You’re eager to work within a radiology department providing support to all modalities.
• You have experience working in accordance with Company protocols and ensuring high attention to detail and quality when completing required documentation.
• Current AHPRA Registration.
• Relevant Working with Children checks.
• You are dedicated to patient care and enjoy working in a collaborative environment.
