What do you love about Aussie Locums?

Our team and our beautiful office.

What is your greatest source of enjoyment in recruitment?

Communicating with our clients and candidates and assisting in coordinating placement arrangements. I also really enjoy assisting through the onboarding process of our candidates.

Where do you feel you add value to candidates who are looking for work?

My previous experience as a recruitment consultant. I understand the importance of good relationships and making candidates feel valued.

What is the best piece of advice you have been given in your career?

Don’t be afraid to make mistakes, own up to mistakes, reflect and learn from them.

If you asked a client to describe you, what would they say?

I think they would say I am approachable, reliable, and polite.

What is the most unusual assignment you have ever been asked to fill?

There have been so many over the years! The most memorable was trying to coordinate with a state government department to fly a plumber to a remote island. I had a remote area nurse working and staying at the remote island and there was a sewerage leak in the accommodation.

Can you tell us about the most memorable moment of your career?

The most memorable moment would have to be being awarded ‘highest quarterly growth’ as a rural and remote consultant in 2019.

Is there a client, candidate or project that stands out?

I’m still relatively new to the Aussie Locums team having started in July so everything is a stand out at the moment.
