Looking to escape the winter and a chance to work and explore Coastal Queensland? Our client is seeking an Occupational Therapist to join their beautiful regional health service for up to 12-weeks starting April.

Inpatient, outpatient and community settings, within a multi-disciplinary team across a paediatric/children heavy caseload.

As an Experienced Occupational Therapist, You will be:

• Conducting assessments and developing individualized treatment plans for patients in community, and hospital
• Delivering evidence-based occupational therapy interventions to promote recovery and independence.
• Collaborating with other allied health staff to ensure the best outcomes for patients.
• Providing education to patients, families, and carers about self-management strategies and equipment use.
• Strong experience completing Functional Capacity Assessments
• Working in the inpatient, outpatient clinic & community settings

To Qualify, You’ll Need:

• A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy.
• Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• The ability to meet all credentialing requirements.
• NDIS worker screening check
• Ability to work independently and interdependently
