All about the role

We are seeking a casual or permanent part-time cardiac sonographer to start from mid-July or early August. The ideal person will be local. The role involves performing echo, stress echo, and treadmill stress echo, Vivid machines. Most sessions will last 30-40 minutes. Work locations include a hospital site in Nedlands, clinics in Bentley and Mandurah, and a private clinic in Geraldton.   This position is perfect for a confident, newly qualified professional.
  
All about the duties will I perform?  

• Perform echo, stress echo, and treadmill stress echo procedures.
• Use a range of VIVID brand machines for imaging.
• Manage a daily caseload of 11-15 patients, with each session lasting 30-40 minutes.
• Work at multiple sites: hospital in Nedlands (inpatients only), clinics in Bentley and Mandurah (single room setups), and a private clinic in Geraldton (with additional remuneration).
• Ensure high-quality patient care and accurate diagnostic imaging.
• Maintain and operate ultrasound equipment effectively.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals as needed.
• Adhere to all relevant protocols and guidelines for cardiac imaging procedures.

The skills and experience I need for this job

• Proficiency in performing echo, stress echo, and treadmill stress echo procedures.
• Experience with VIVID machines.
• Ability to manage a daily caseload of up to 15 patients, with each session lasting 30-40 minutes.
• Flexibility to work at multiple sites, including hospital and clinic settings.
• Strong patient care skills and attention to detail for accurate diagnostic imaging.
• Effective operation and maintenance of ultrasound equipment.
• Collaboration skills to work with other healthcare professionals.
• Adherence to protocols and guidelines for cardiac imaging procedures.
• Confidence and competence, role would also be suitable for newly qualified professionals.
