*Pay Rates: The base rates of $68 – $78 per hour are based on AM rates, with shift rates additional. Please note: The hourly rate is dependent on the nurse’s years of experience and the geographical location of the contract, with remote locations offering a higher rate compared to regional and rural contracts. Rates can be discussed in further detail at the time of initial screening.

Our contracts encompass a comprehensive range of healthcare settings, providing a unique and rewarding experience for our nurses. You will be required to demonstrate proficiency and expertise across the following three specialties:

• Emergency Nursing: Handle urgent and critical care situations with confidence and efficiency.
• Acute Medical Care: Deliver high-quality care for patients with severe and complex medical conditions.
• Aged Care: Provide compassionate and specialized support to elderly patients, ensuring their well-being and comfort.
• This diverse skill set is essential for addressing the varied and dynamic healthcare needs of rural communities. If you possess the versatility and dedication to excel in these three areas, we want you on our team.

 

• You are a registered or clinical nurse with significant experience working in regional, rural, and remote locations. You hold certifications in emergency nursing and triage, as well as advanced life support (ALS) and paediatric advanced life support (PALS). Your skills in IV cannulation, aged care, and rural nursing are exceptional, and you possess strong triage abilities. Additionally, you have proven team leadership capabilities, making you a well-rounded and highly skilled healthcare professional

           In addition, you hold the following mandatory competencies

• Basic Life Support (BLS)
• Advanced Life Support (ALS)
• Emergency Triage Education Kit (ETEK)
• Manual and Patient Handling
• Infection Control
• Aggressive Behaviour Management
• Mandatory Reporting (Child Abuse & Neglect)
• Medication Management (QPHS Regulations)
