Salary – Up to $62.00 per hour + super | Salary packaging up to $15,900 + $2,650 for entertainment

Job Summary
The Clinical Nurse Coordinator will lead the delivery and operational success of Wheels of Wellness (WoW)’s healthcare services and programs, ensuring efficient clinic and outreach services through strong clinical management, leadership, and client care. This role drives WoW’s accreditation processes, manages the Homeless Healthcare Program, and oversees casual nursing and allied health staff. Additionally, the Coordinator will provide strategic support, engage with stakeholders, and contribute to the overall goals of the organisation.

About the role
The Clinical Nurse Coordinator is a vital member of the team, playing a key role in leading the delivery, quality, and operational success of Wheels of Wellness’s (WoW) healthcare services and programs. This position is responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient daily operation of clinic and outreach services through strong clinical management, leadership, and client care. The role also drives WoW’s accreditation processes, ensuring compliance with required standards to achieve and maintain successful accreditation. Additionally, the Clinical Nurse Coordinator manages the Homeless Healthcare Program (HHP), overseeing its implementation and ongoing operation. This role includes the oversight of casual nursing and allied health staff, as well as providing strategic and operational support across all areas of responsibility. The Clinical Nurse Coordinator also plays a critical role in relationship management and stakeholder engagement to support the broader goals of the organisation.
  
Skills and experience

  • Qualifications: Current registration with AHPRA/Nursing and Midwifery Board and a valid driver’s license.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years post-graduate experience.  It will be highly desirable, if you have experience working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities and vulnerable populations in community and primary care settings, however this is not a deal breaker.
  • Skills: Demonstrated expertise in clinical governance, quality improvement, and accreditation processes, with the ability to manage complex clinical and social issues.
  • Leadership: Strong leadership and mentoring skills, with experience managing teams and fostering collaboration across multiple stakeholders.
  • Compliance: Ability to provide a National Police Clearance, and engage with risk management protocols in clinical environments.
