The role:
We are seeking an experienced Locum Hospital Radiographer for a well-supported hospital role in Cairns, QLD. Varied hospital caseload across general radiography, theatre and mobile imaging, with rostered shifts that may include weekends, on-call and a range of shift types. You will work alongside a collaborative onsite team of radiographers, a sonographer, administration staff and a radiologist, making this a great opportunity for a confident radiographer who enjoys variety, teamwork and the lifestyle benefits of tropical Far North Queensland.

Distinctive Aspects of This Role:
A varied hospital-based locum opportunity for a radiographer confident across general imaging, theatre and mobile work. The department uses a mix of Philips and Shimadzu equipment, including Shimadzu MobileDart for mobile imaging, Philips Veradius, Endura and Zenition systems in theatre, and Philips and Shimadzu general radiography equipment. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys a dynamic roster, a supportive multidisciplinary team and the opportunity to combine clinical variety with life in Cairns.

The Essentials for This Role:

• Previous hospital radiography experience highly regarded
• Confident across general radiography, theatre and mobile imaging
• Comfortable working to a rotating roster, with weekends, on-call and varied shift types possible
• Experience with Philips and Shimadzu equipment advantageous – not essential
• Current AHPRA registration and relevant hospital compliance required
