The Role:
Step into a rewarding dual-qualified locum where you’ll independently manage a varied workload across ultrasound, general radiography and CT within a friendly private practice located alongside a public hospital. Perform general ultrasound examinations, support urgent CT referrals, complete general X-ray imaging and work collaboratively with the clinical team to deliver exceptional patient care. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced dual traines sonographer looking for variety, autonomy and the potential for an ongoing locum relationship.

Date and Duration: Approximately 2 weeks in October 2026 (flexible dates) with ongoing repeat locum opportunities available, minimum of 1 other 2 week locum.
    
Distinctive Aspects of This Role
This is more than a one-off locum. The clinic owner is seeking a reliable dual-qualified clinician who enjoys rural private practice and may wish to return for regular placements throughout the year.
Working independently, you’ll perform scan s across ultraound | general xray and CT using modern GE and Fuji equipment. The clinic is located within a public hospital precinct, providing a varied caseload that includes community referrals alongside Urgent Care and inpatient CT requests.  You’ll enjoy genuine autonomy while being supported by an experienced practice owner who understands locum life and values long-term professional relationships. Bone densitometry can be deferred if required, allowing you to focus on your core imaging skills.

• AHPRA registered Radiographer | Radiation Licence VIC
• ASAR accredited Sonographer
• Confident performing CT independently
• Dual-qualified across Ultrasound, general and CT xray
