We are seeking a locum ASAR Registered General Sonographer who can work in a busy remote hospital in Queensland.

Job Summary
We are seeking a locum ASAR Registered General Sonographer who can work in a busy remote hospital in Queensland.  Travel support, accommodation support provided.  Commencing 10th June to 27th June.
  
This is a QLD Health role, which will require credentialing in line with their protocols.  Our team can step you through this.
   
Duties and Responsibilities:

• Perform a broad range of ultrasound scans with high attention to detail, ensuring the highest standard of patient care.
• Confidently work in a rural and remote hospital setting, managing a busy caseload with no Radiologists on site.
• Provide clear and effective communication with both colleagues and patients, ensuring a smooth workflow.
• Deliver excellent patient care at all times, adapting to the needs of a diverse and often challenging environment.
• Work Monday to Friday, 0800-1600, with no expected on-call or weekend shifts.

  
Skills and Experience Required:

• Minimum of 5 years’ post-graduate experience in rural and remote locations, with strong obstetric skills (including nuchal scans).
• Unrestricted ASAR registration.
• Demonstrated ability to meet credentialing requirements for locum roles in rural QLD healthcare settings.
• Experience working independently in a small hospital without on-site Radiologists.
• High proficiency in obstetric ultrasound, especially nuchals and related scans.
