About the Role
As part of the hospital pharmacy department, you’ll provide comprehensive clinical pharmacy services across a range of medical and surgical wards, working closely with doctors, nurses and allied health professionals to optimise patient care.
Your responsibilities will include:

• Clinical pharmacy services across inpatient wards
• Medication reconciliation on admission and discharge
• Medication reviews and patient counselling
• Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
• Supporting safe and effective medication management
• Maintaining accurate clinical documentation

You’ll receive a comprehensive pharmacy and ward orientation to ensure you’re set up for success from day one.
About You
To be successful, you’ll have:

• Current unrestricted AHPRA registration as a Pharmacist
• Bachelor of Pharmacy qualification
• Minimum 2 years’ recent hospital clinical pharmacy experience
• Strong experience in clinical ward services, including admissions and discharges
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities
• A proactive, organised and patient-focused approach

Highly Regarded

• Experience within medical and surgical wards
• Familiarity with iPharmacy, BOSSNET and paper-based medication charts and progress notes
